Introducing Lynn Weeks, Senior Waitress


 

How long have your worked for Suzanne James Catering?


I had a change of career in January 2014 into the world of Events and joined Suzanne James at the beginning of 2016.

What do you do?

I'm an experienced events function co-ordinator outside of Suzanne James, but in this role I'm part of the Front Of House Team taking on all responsibilities required.

What do you love about your job?

I love all the interaction with the guests and being part of a slick team. There's no greater satisfaction than when an event runs like clockwork.

What's your favourite food to eat?

SEAFOOD! Especially with a touch of garlic, chilli and fresh pasta! Ooh and a chilled glass of white wine.

If you could go back in time what food would you tell your younger self to try sooner?

Definitely Asian food as I was a late comer!

What did you do before you worked for Suzanne James Catering?


Spent 30+ years working writing and designing software in IT (including 10 years freelancing).

If you could dine with anyone, past or present who would it be?

Without a doubt, Ferran Adria (El Bulli).

What do you like to do when you're not at work?


Listening to soul music and drinking GIN.

What are your long term ambitions?

To get Suzanne James to train me up in their kitchen!
