Hello - we’re Suzanne James, an independent London catering and events company, led by a creative chef with over 35 years’ experience in the hospitality industry.
We create seasonal British food for weddings, private celebrations and events across London, combining careful planning, considered menus and genuinely warm service. Everything we do is shaped by experience, attention to detail and a belief that good food should feel both generous and well thought through.
Our menus are designed around seasonal produce and adaptable cooking, with plenty of experience catering for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and other dietary requirements. In the kitchen, our chefs focus on flavour and balance; front of house, our team pride themselves on calm, professional service that allows events to unfold naturally.
We take the time to understand what matters to you. From first conversations through to the day itself, we listen carefully, guide where helpful, and provide clear, transparent proposals so you know exactly what to expect.
Sustainability sits at the heart of how we work — from sourcing and menu design to waste, water and energy use. We believe thoughtful catering means making responsible choices, without compromise on quality or enjoyment.
